Ovan and Marije are the founders behind AMKINA, a creative journey they have been building together in Sardinia for eight years. What started as a fashion label after art school has grown into a brand connecting fashion, hospitality, food, people, craftsmanship and culture. Along the way they bought a €1 house and made Sardinia home. AMKINA means “Who are we?” in Kurdish, a question that has stayed at the heart of everything they create.

Laura Loddo, 36, from the province of Cagliari, is the founder of Kasu Cheesecake. With a background in business management and administration, she travelled extensively through her twenties, specialised in property management, and launched her first venture as co-founder of a tourism business. Today she runs her boutique bakery full-time, bringing a fresh, modern alternative to traditional pastries for customers and events across Sardinia.

Co-Founder and CTO of Dott.House, the AI CFO for short-term rental operators, serving around 200 companies that manage more than 5,000 properties across Italy. Previously the first data hire at CoinTracker (the first crypto accounting company in the US, YC-backed) and a software engineer at Microsoft, with two companies founded before this one. He is also a real estate investor in Cagliari and founder of Materia Boutique Apartments.

Founder of Essentzia Coffee Project, an artisan coffee roastery and training lab in Cagliari, Sardinia. His coffee career spans more than twelve years, including a decade in Dublin where, as Head of Coffee at Bear Market Coffee, he led green buying, production and e-commerce across ten coffee shops with a team of 75. In 2024 he came home to Sardinia to build Essentzia from scratch, one cup at a time.

Nathalie is working to help Torre delle Stelle grow into a more complete and compelling destination, bringing together restaurants, bars, luxury villas, shopping and community spaces, events, and a new hotel project. The goal is to raise the overall quality of the area, create more reasons to visit and stay, and build a stronger year-round experience while preserving the natural beauty and character that make Torre delle Stelle unique and loved.
