Two Years Rent-Free to Build
The one thing I'd bring
A fully funded accelerator space that gives startups rent-free workspace.
Where I've seen it work
London, where a university-funded accelerator gave the respondent two years rent-free.
How it would help local companies and entrepreneurs
Taking away rent in the riskiest early years frees cash for product and hiring, and gives founders time to reach traction.
What we'd need to make it happen
A university-backed or public-private accelerator program, suitable space (for example unused public buildings), a selection process, and multi-year funding from the University of Cagliari, the Region or private sponsors.
